Married on May 20, 1963 to Robert (Bob) James Wild, as a result of crazy young love and a whirlwind elopement in Great Falls, Montana.
With our parents’ blessing! We borrowed his mother’s spanking new white car to cross the border from Calgary, Alberta into Montana on the long Victoria Day weekend. He was 21.
Facts? My young husband was killed eight years later in a motorcycle accident in June 1971. He left behind a wife, daughter and son. No ghosts, but an idea for a story of what might have been, written from the perspective of age.

He was correct that it’s a love story that transcends death, and although it has elements of abuse, that should not be emphasized. Remember how very young we were!
