Month: June 2019

Meet Mari Collier, passionate and original inventive author of Marika, a Western / Sci-fi novel of amazing proportions! The author has penned this latest in her Tonath series and I think it’s her best.

Read this 5/5 star review by L. Carmichael!

May 12, 2019 Format: Kindle EditionVerified Purchase “Marika is the 3rd book in the ‘Chronicles of Tonath’ series written by Mari Collier. While you don’t need to read them in order, it’s probably a good idea to give it a try if you can. I chose to read this one first (the latest) because I liked the plot line and wanted to sample something by the author. I can easily say that Collier is a wonderful writer, and I will continue to read more from her.”

After Sarah returns to the inn, she faces long-buried memories, text messages and strange clues. Something is not right in Sea Scope.

Reunited with people from her past, she tries to figure out what’s going on in her childhood home. As the past and present collide, she must face truths about her family, and what happened that summer day by the lighthouse. But will she survive to tell the tale?

Many years ago, in the age of the mastodon and saber toothed tiger, lived an 18-year-old girl named Kenna Mary MacDonald.

That was me!

Married on May 20, 1963 to Robert (Bob) James Wild, as a result of crazy young love and a whirlwind elopement in Great Falls, Montana.

With our parents’ blessing! We borrowed his mother’s spanking new white car to cross the border from Calgary, Alberta into Montana on the long Victoria Day weekend. He was 21.

Facts? My young husband was killed eight years later in a motorcycle accident in June 1971. He left behind a wife, daughter and son. No ghosts, but an idea for a story of what might have been, written from the perspective of age.

It was a Honda 750, a big bike in 1971

Ascending” is the fictional account of that marriage revealed in my latest novella on Amazon, B&N, and Smashwords by publisher Next Chapter / Creativia.

Read it now. Three 5 star reviews on Goodreads, Amazon.co.uk, and Amazon.com.

5 star review from Sashadoo: “This is the third book I have read by this author. All have been excellent reads, this one more than her earlier works. The story of the love that transcends death is both touching and at the same time, rather spooky, as the restless spirit of Scarlett’s deceased husband, Michael appears to be haunting her and their young son, Troy. The problem is, Michael’s spirit seems to be able to manifest itself in both corporeal and non-corporeal forms. How this can be and the surprising twist in the tale leads to a conclusion that I least expected. An excellent read, not too long, and worthy of 5 stars.”
